What If Our Economy Grew With Our Families?
The story behind Moms in the Market, our AI vision and why local business ownership matters.

A community should be more than an audience
Families spend money every day on housing, childcare, caregiving, celebrations, transportation and the services that keep life moving. But too often, every need sends a family to a different website, a different company and another complicated process.
Moms in the Market began with a different belief: the relationships, knowledge, skills and businesses already inside our communities should become a connected source of support. Built by moms, made for everyone means we welcome families, neighbors, local professionals and family owned businesses, not only women business owners.
Our long term mission is simple to say and ambitious to build. More income. More time. More stability. Stronger homes and communities.
Our foundation is licensed industry experience
As a Designated Real Estate Broker and licensed Mortgage Loan Officer, MITM Co-Founder Renessa Guerrero is building from within the housing and finance markets. The experience matters: real estate reveals actual inventory, buyer behavior, seller decisions and investor channels; mortgage lending reveals affordability, loan structures, financing constraints and the cash needed to make a move.
That combination gives our AI experiment a practical starting point. We know which questions must be asked and which numbers must be explained before a family makes a financial decision. Professional licensing does not license an AI product or replace individualized legal, mortgage or real estate review. It gives the build a foundation of firsthand experience, accountability and compliance awareness.
Real demand should shape the service
We are building Luna, our AI coordination layer, to understand needs before offering products. If a homeowner considers a major renovation, the first question is not which contractor should get the job. It is whether the renovation makes financial sense in that property's market.
When a family needs senior care or a birthday party, the opportunity is to coordinate the actual tasks, schedules and qualified local providers, with the family approving what happens next. The platform should reduce work, not create another dashboard families have to manage.
If a need is not proven, we should not push a purchase just to create platform revenue. Trust must come before transactions.
The local economy is connected
One home move can involve real estate services, lenders, movers, childcare, home cleaning and landscaping. One celebration might create work for a local venue, photographer, baker and family entertainment provider. A meaningful connection becomes more valuable when these businesses can work together instead of competing for isolated transactions.
We want to make that collaboration easier with shared service bundles, scheduling, service standards and transparent pricing. A family gets one understandable plan. Each participating business retains its identity and receives a defined role.
Where we are, what we're building and what comes next
Our starting point is an operating real estate and mortgage background led by a Designated Real Estate Broker and licensed Mortgage Loan Officer, alongside an existing community, local business relationships and a growing digital platform. We are developing homeowner intelligence, demand informed service connections, family service bundles and community circles. These are projects in progress, not a claim that every automation is already operating.
A proposed future fractional ownership program is also being explored. It is not yet available, and membership or service purchases do not create an ownership interest. Any future opportunity would require clear terms, eligibility, disclosures and appropriate legal and regulatory review.
We'll show our work. Not just the exciting ideas, but the actual outcomes, decisions, operating costs and improvements. Come build with us.
